Chicago hosted the National Political Convention this year and made it a memorable one.....
A task force has been put together to put organization into the food side of the convention....for starters, at least 150 restaurants all within the city limits will be offering a specially created prix-fixe menu for $19.96.

Another 30 restaurants will be featuring certain promoted items throughout August.

Well none other than Rick Roman, president and owner of The Signature Room at the 95th is a co-chairman of this restaurant task force.
The Navy Pier will be issuing in the "Welcome Party" on Saturday Night....Roughly 20,000 will be in attendance. This mini "Taste of Chicago" will showcase 30 of the cities finest restaurants.

Coco Pazzo has two dinners scheduled for Sunday, August 25th. The first given by Newsweeek Magazine and the second by Representative Richard Gephardt.
